Beijing hosted the Global South Modernization Forum on November 21, bringing together scholars and experts from China, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and other countries. The forum focused on sustainable development and green modernization tailored to local cultural and social practices.

Participants shared insights on balancing economic growth with environmental protection. Emphasis was placed on creating development strategies that respect local traditions while promoting modern green technologies.

The forum highlighted successful examples of green modernization in the Global South. Delegates discussed renewable energy adoption, sustainable urban planning, and climate-resilient agriculture as key pathways for development.

Experts stressed the importance of collaboration among nations in the Global South. By sharing knowledge, experiences, and technology, countries can implement more effective and culturally sensitive solutions to environmental and economic challenges.

China’s scholars presented initiatives that integrate green technologies with traditional practices, showing how innovation and heritage can coexist. Other participants shared case studies from Africa and South Asia, demonstrating practical approaches to sustainable modernization.

Discussions also explored the social dimensions of green modernization. Community engagement, education, and inclusive policies were emphasized as critical factors in ensuring that sustainability benefits all members of society.

Delegates concluded that sustainable development in the Global South requires a balance between modernization and respect for cultural and social contexts. Localized solutions, rather than one-size-fits-all models, are essential for long-term success.

Overall, the forum in Beijing provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. The Global South modernization dialogue highlighted how countries can pursue economic growth while protecting the environment and preserving cultural heritage.
